Judy advises clients on corporate law, governance, and shareholder arrangements, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, and financial services regulation. She also has extensive experience in commercial contracting, insolvency and restructuring, and resolving complex commercial disputes.
Before joining Simpson Western, Judy practised law in New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, and Mainland China, representing a diverse range of clients – from start ups and SMEs to regulated financial institutions and multinational listed companies.
With a strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach, Judy enjoys helping clients navigate complex legal landscapes. Also fluent in Mandarin, her bilingual and dual-qualified background enables her to connect with people across different cultures and industries effectively.
Beyond work, Judy is an avid swimmer and snowboarder. She is also passionate about animal welfare and actively explores animal protection law and research across various jurisdictions.
