Gary Simpson Partner

Gary is a founding partner of Simpson Western and has been a partner for over 30 years, acting as a trusted advisor to numerous business and personal clients.

Gary specialises in asset protection; he heads up our asset protection team, advising our clients in all aspects of asset protection, including trust formation and administration and trust restructuring.

An enthusiastic advocate of the North Shore, Gary has lived here for all but eight years of his life and has worked in Takapuna for over three decades. He is a trustee of the North Harbour Club Charitable Trust and a director of the North Harbour Club Inc.

When not at work, Gary enjoys the making (and drinking) of wine, especially from the Hawkes Bay. He is a director and shareholder of Redmetal Vineyards Limited, a boutique winery situated southwest of Hastings. He also enjoys boating, fishing and travel – and ideally all three at once!
