Bertha Wright Legal Executive

Bertha has over 25 years of experience in immigration work. She specialises in assisting multinational companies with immigration issues. She also handles investor and residence applications and residential sales and purchases.

Bertha is an ethnic Chinese who has lived in the United Kingdom and New Zealand for most of her life. She speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese and was nominated in 1998 as a Justice of the Peace because of her community work assisting migrants integrating into New Zealand's society.

In her spare time Bertha enjoys gardening and travel. She is passionate about sustainability of the environment and encourages recycling, composting and, of course, her thriving worm farm. After assisting her clients with their house purchases, she often advises them on their plants' nutrients and requirements!

“I enjoy my work. I am very pleased that I am able to assist our clients. Every morning when I drive past Takapuna Beach, I feel very privileged that I work at Simpson Western on the Shore.”
